NLVA Annual General Meeting

The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association held its annual general meeting this past weekend in Gander. During the weekend the provincial award winners were named, tournament dates and locations were selected for next season and as well some of the association's policies and plans were presented for the future including its new quadrennial plan for athlete and coaching development. 

The award winners are as follows:

REG SOPER MEMORIAL AWARD 
Dedication to volleyball � Eric Hiscock from Bell Island

WAYNE SHEPPARD MEMORIAL AWARD 
Senior Player of the Year � Susan Mosher from Memorial University and Doug Duffett from Canada Games 

ROBBIE WEST MEMORIAL AWARD 
Minor Player of the Year � Charlene Tilley and Mike Arns from CBS 

PAUL AUGOT MEMORIAL AWARD 
Dedication to officiating � Dave Jewer from Grand Falls Windsor

COACH OF THE YEAR 
Terry Mosher from CBS

TEAM OF THE YEAR 
CBS Sabres Midget A Girls

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AWARD 
Summitt Volleyball Club, Clarenville.
