NOTE TO EDITORS: Provincial heritage pieces to be unveiled

Kevin Aylward, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, and Kelvin Parsons, MHA - Burgeo & La Poile, will join the South West Coast Historical Society and the Towns of Isle aux Morts and Channel-Port aux Basques for the unveiling of two provincial heritage treasures on June 13, 2001

Wayne Mushrow will officially transfer Mushrow Astrolabe II to the Provincial Collection of the Newfoundland Museum to be held in trust for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador along with Mushrow Astrolabe I.

The unveiling ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Le Gallais Memorial School, Isle aux Morts and 2:00 p.m. at Bruce II Sports Complex, Channel-Port aux Basques.
