Municipal and Provincial Affairs Minister Oliver Langdon, minister responsible for the Emergency Measures Organization, accompanied by Fred Hollett, acting director provincial Emergency Measures Organization; Deputy Chief of Police Gary Browne, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary; Superintendent Gerry Lynch, Royal Canadian Mounted Police; and Jim Roche, general manager St. John's International Airport Authority will provide a status report on activities being undertaken to assist people on flights originally bound for the United States at 4:30 p.m. today (September 12) at St. John's International Airport.
