Municipal and Provincial Affairs Minister Oliver Langdon, minister responsible for the Emergency Measures Organization, accompanied by Fred Hollett, acting director provincial Emergency Measures Organization; Deputy Chief of Police Gary Browne, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary; and Superintendent Gerry Lynch, Royal Canadian Mounted Police will provide a status report on activites being undertaken to assist people arriving in Newfoundland and Labrador on flights originally bound for the United States at 5:30 p.m. today (September 11) at St. John's International Airport.
