Ministers to visit communities in Terra Nova district

Terra Nova MHA Tom Lush today announced that he, along with Municipal and Provincial Affairs Minister Oliver Langdon and Environment Minister Ralph Wiseman, will be visiting several communities in the Terra Nova district on Thursday, September 6, to discuss specific areas of concern recently raised by residents and town councils.

"Recently, individuals have come forward expressing concerns regarding water and sewer matters," said Mr. Lush. "With the intention of having this addressed quickly, I wanted to ensure the two ministers concerned were able to experience the problems first hand and hopefully initiate corrective measures as soon as possible."

Ministers Langdon and Wiseman will accompany Mr. Lush to the communities of Musgravetown, Glovertown, Gambo, Hare Bay and Dover. They will meet with town councils and individuals who are experiencing problems relating to water and sewer and also seeking advice regarding financial and related economic concerns.
