Justice Minister offers condolences over passing of retired Supreme Court Judge

Justice Minister and Attorney General Kelvin Parsons says he was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Honourable Rubert W. Bartlett, a retired Justice of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and the Northwest Territories, and former member of the House of Assembly for the district of Trinity South.

"Judge Bartlett enjoyed a diverse career which encompassed exploration, business, law and politics," stated Parsons. "He made a significant contribution to this province and served the public with intelligence, compassion and balance."

He is survived by his wife Marion, son Robert, daughter Janet, step-daughter Tamara, and granddaughter Ardath.
