NOTE TO EDITORS: Parliamentary secretary attending Offshore Europe in place of Minister Beaton Tulk

Due to priorities within the province requiring his attention, Industry, Trade and Rural Development Minister Beaton Tulk is unable to attend Offshore Europe 2001 in Aberdeen, Scotland this week. George Sweeney, parliamentary secretary to Minister Tulk for Information and Advanced Technologies, will attend the international petroleum conference and exhibition in his place.

Newfoundland and Labrador delegates representing 25 companies and organizations are participating in the event which runs from September 4-7, 2001.
