Minister to meet with groups to discuss disabled parking program

NOTE TO EDITORS:

Walter Noel, Minister of Government Services and Lands, will meet with officials from the Canadian Paraplegic Association, the HUB, and the Coalition of Persons with Disabilities on Friday, March 23, to discuss issues related to the Mobility Impaired Parking Program.

Discussion will deal with the administration of the program, the number of spaces provided, the process for acquiring permits, fees charged for permits, and enabling legislation.

The meeting will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Main Boardroom, Department of Government Services and Lands, 2nd Floor, West Block, Confederation Building.

The minister is available to speak to media representative who may wish to discuss this matter.
