NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to attend conference in Faroe Islands, June 21-23

Gerry Reid, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will be in the Faroe Islands from June 21 to 23, to attend the Nordic Conference on Protection of the Sea and Sustainable Utilization of Living Marine Resources in the North Atlantic.

The Government of the Faroe Islands, in cooperation with the Nordic Council of Ministers, has invited environment and fisheries ministers and regional political leaders from across North America to discuss issues of mutual interest.
