NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to participate in Ministerial Conference on Francophone Affairs

Tom Lush, Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs and minister responsible for francophone affairs, will be in Edmonton, Alberta on September 27-28 to participate in the 2001 Ministerial Conference on Francophone Affairs. Minister Lush will be joined at the conference by representatives from other provincial and territorial governments and by federal Intergovernmental Affairs Minister St�phane Dion. Topics of discussion will include healthcare services in French, economic development for francophone communities and interprovincial/territorial cooperation.
