Premier welcomes new MHA for Port de Grave

Premier Roger Grimes today welcomed Roland Butler into caucus as the new Member of the House of Assembly for the District of Port de Grave.

Mr. Butler was sworn in as MHA for the district this morning during a ceremony at Government House.

"I congratulate Mr. Butler on his June 19 by-election victory," said Premier Grimes. "Mr. Butler has worked hard for the people of Port de Grave as the executive assistant for the former MHA, Mr. John Efford, and I am confident he will continue to serve his constituents well as their representative in government."
