Premier Beaton Tulk today officially welcomed Judy Foote back to Cabinet following her leave due to illness. Ms. Foote will resume her portfolio as Education Minister.
"On behalf of all Cabinet and Caucus members, I would like to welcome Judy Foote back to full-time duties as minister," said Premier Tulk. "I'm sure that she is also happy to be back to work and we all wish her the best as she continues to serve the people of Newfoundland and Labrador."
Finance Minister Lloyd Matthews served as Acting Minister of Education while Minister Foote was on leave. As Minister Matthews now officially leaves the Education post, the premier commended him for his hard work and willingness to take on the additional role.
