Preliminary Count
Based on preliminary vote counts received by telephone, from one advance poll, 40 regular polls, and the special mail in ballot count, the results of the June 19, 2001 by election in the electoral district of Humber West are as follows:

The official addition of the votes for the by election in Humber West is scheduled to take place at the office of the returning officer, Recplex Building, 5 University Drive at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2001. Upon conclusion of the official addition of the votes, the candidate who receives the largest number of votes shall be declared elected by the returning oficer.
