Construction to begin on Arnold�s Cove school
Rick Woodford, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, and Percy Barrett, MHA-Bellevue, today announced that government has awarded a contract for the construction a new school in Arnold's Cove.
The contract, which is valued at $4,266,500, was awarded to Colby Construction Ltd. of Upper Island Cove. Mr. Barrett said construction on Tricentia Academy will commence immediately and be completed by September 1, 2001.
"We�re very pleased that work will soon begin and that students in the area will have a new building for the next school year," said Mr. Barrett.
