Contract awarded for Victoria Academy water storage tanks

Rick Woodford, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, and Oliver Langdon, MHA for Fortune Bay-Cape La Hune, announced today that a $125,350.00 contract has been awarded to Bennett�s Construction and Supplies Ltd. of Grand Bank.

Work will include the construction of a concrete water storage tank and accessories, adjacent to Victoria Academy in Gaultois. The water tank will be used for fire fighting purposes.

Mr. Langdon said that work will commence immediately and be completed by June 13, 2000.
