Pepsi pre-bantam volleyball tournaments
The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association is hosting three more of the 20 Pepsi minor championships for the 2000 season on April 14 and 15. The three tournaments are pre-bantam girls east, pre-bantam girls west and the pre-bantam central girls.
The pre-bantam west girls will be held in Stephenville this Saturday, April 15. The tournament has a total of six teams entered to compete for top spot. These teams are the Stephenville Spartans, G.C. Rowe, Port au Port Bull Dogs, Presentation #1, Presentation #2 and Pasadena. These teams will be playing at the west coast training centre.
The pre-bantam east girls will be held in St. John�s this Friday and Saturday. The tournament has a total of six teams competing. These teams are Frank Roberts, All Hallows, St. Thomas of Villanova, Bell Island, Strikers and Catalina Elementary. These teams will be playing at the Torbay Recreation Centre, Friday evening and at the Frank Roberts school in CBS on Saturday.
The pre-bantam girls central will be held in Grand Falls. There are six teams competing, four from Grand Falls, one from Gander and one from Botwood.
