The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador: The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will hold two Molson senior men�s provincial championships this weekend, March 10 to 12. The Division II event is slated for Stella Maris High School in Trepassey with eight teams entered. Teams include Pockets, Cotton Club, Jungle Jim�s, East Side Mario�s and O�Rielly�s from St. John�s, Gander All-stars, Lewisporte and Stella Maris. The Division IV event is slated for Laurentian Place in St. Lawrence and has eight teams as well. Teams competing include M5 Advertising, Nortec College and Labatt�s, from the St. John�s Men�s League, Metro League All-stars, Burin Selects, Woodman�s from Trinity Bay, St. Lawrence Laurentians and St. Lawrence High. Both events will start at 3:00 p.m. on Friday and will conclude with the championship games slated for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
