NOTE TO EDITORS:

On behalf of Tourism, Culture and Recreation Minister Charles Furey, Jim Walsh, MHA - Conception Bay East and Bell Island, will open a summer exhibition entitled, When Summer Spreads Her Hand: A Retrospective of Summer Sport in Newfoundland, which features treasures from the Provincial Sports Archives. The opening ceremony will take place today at the Colonial Building in St. John�s at 4:00 p.m. All media are welcome to attend.
