NOTE TO EDITORS:
The Government of Ireland and Waterford Crystal of Waterford, Ireland will present a one-of-a-kind Waterford crystal piece to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador, Friday, June 16 at 3:00 p.m., Arts and Culture Centre, upper concourse.
The piece was designed and created to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the Vikings arrival to our province. Minister Walter Noel will unveil and accept this piece on behalf of Premier Brian Tobin and Charles Furey, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation.
