Squires Memorial Provincial Park reopen

Charles Furey, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, today announced that Squires Memorial Provincial Park, which was recently closed after the washout of Little Falls Bridge two weeks ago, is now reopen. Little Falls Bridge provides access into the park.

"The public can now access the park off the Trans Canada Highway via the Wig Wam Road, west of Howley," said Furey. "However, visitors are advised to drive slowly and with caution when taking this alternate route."

The department is currently erecting signs to notify drivers of the exit onto Wig Wam Road.
