Senior deputy chief assumes commanding officer responsibilities at the RNC
The Department of Justice advised today that for personal reasons, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Chief Ches Oliver is unable to continue in his position.
Gary Brown, senior deputy chief, will assume the responsibilites of acting chief until a new chief has been appointed.
