Justice Minister presents public service awards

Justice Minister and Attorney General Kelvin Parsons attended a barbecue luncheon and presentation of awards at the Pleasantville Youth Centre on Tuesday, August 15, where three employees were recognized for their many years of public service in the field of youth corrections.

Clayton Coombs, now retired, was honoured for 34 years of service, Linda Bulger for 20 years of service, and Clyde Tucker, also for 20 years of service.

"When you look at it, these three individuals combined, have contributed nearly three quarters of a century to the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, in the area of youth corrections," said Minister Parsons. "Their dedication speaks volumes for their patience, understanding and compassion."
