NOTE TO EDITORS:

Sandra C. Kelly, Minister of Industry, Trade and Technology, Lorne Janes, chairman of the Alliance of Manufacturers and Exporters Newfoundland and Labrador, and International Trade Minister Pierre Pettigrew will be presenting the 16^th Newfoundland and Labrador Export Awards tomorrow evening (May 24).

The awards will be presented to four provincial companies that have displayed exporting excellence, and serve to encourage companies not currently exporting to consider the benefits and advantages of branching into international markets.

All media are invited to attend the event, which will be held on Wednesday, May 24, at 6:30 p.m. in Salons A and B at Hotel Newfoundland.
