NOTE TO EDITORS:

Sandra C. Kelly, Minister of Industry, Trade and Technology and Ralph Wiseman, MHA -Topsail, will be participating in a news conference with Dennis Murray, president of Murray�s Meats, regarding the company�s recent modernization and expansion.

Murray�s Meats Ltd. has been in business since 1978, and recently completed renovations which have expanded its existing operation to enable it to manufacture processed meats, a capability that is not currently available in the province. During the news conference, Minister Kelly will make a business-related announcement regarding the company.

All media are invited to attend the event, which will be held on Wednesday, May 24, at 2:30 p.m. at Murray�s Meats in Manuels (side entrance).

Tours of the renovated facilities will also be offered.
