Julie Bettney, Minister of Human Resources and Employment, will be the special guest at a reception Friday afternoon to celebrate Single Parent Family Week.
The event is hosted by the Single Parent Association of Newfoundland (SPAN) and begins at 4 p.m., at Pearlgate Manor, 17 Wilson Crescent, Mount Pearl.
