Wildlife charges laid against two Glovertown residents

A wildlife investigation by Gambo District Office of the Department of Forest Resources and Agrifoods has resulted in two Glovertown males; Chesley Davis, 54, and Cyril Baker, 45, being charged with various violations under the Provincial Wildlife Regulations.

Conservation officers executed search warrants on homes and cabins in the area which resulted in the seizure of big game meat, a large number of untagged salmon, fishing nets and a vehicle. The two accused are to appear in Provincial Court in Gander on November 8, 2000 for plea.
