Notice to moose hunters

Kevin Aylward, Minister of Forest Resources and Agrifoods, advises those moose hunters who were awarded a 2000/2001 big game hunting licence for hunting a "male only" or "female only" animal that a printing error exists on some of these licences.

Hunters are advised that they are permitted to harvest a calf of either sex as an option for these licence types. These licences should have read " male only or calf" or " female only or calf ". The minister apologizes to hunters for any confusion or inconvenience caused as a result of this omission, and assures the hunters in question that this will not cause any problem in the field during their hunting trip.
