 Big game violations - Central Newfoundland

On March 27 and March 29, 2000, two individuals pleaded guilty to charges under the Provincial Wildlife Regulations in court at Grand Falls-Windsor. Both individuals were charged by Bishop Falls District conservation officers for violations during the 1999/2000 hunting season.

Monty Power was convicted of selling big game meat. Mr. Power was fined $1,000 and prohibited from holding a moose or caribou licence for a period of five years.

Brian F. Peyton was convicted of possessing untagged big game meat. Mr. Peyton was fined $1,000 and prohibited from holding moose or caribou licence for a period of five years.
