Corrected trapping seasons for Labrador - Zone B
Kevin Aylward, minister responsible for wildlife, advises trappers in Labrador that the 1999/2000 Trappers Update gives incorrect closing dates for several Labrador furbearer species in fur management Zone B An error at the time of printing incorrectly shows the closing date for coyote, ermine, coloured fox, lynx, marten, mink and squirrel in the Zone B portion of Labrador as closing on March 20, 2000. The correct closing date for these species is March 31, 2000. The closing date for white fox in Zone B, identified in the update as March 20, 2000 is May 15, 2000. All other season dates listed in this publication are correct.
