Minister urges employees to return to work
Anna Thistle, President of Treasury Board, is again today urging laboratory and x-ray employees who are participating in an illegal strike to return to work.
"We remain willing to meet with NAPE, the union
representing these employees. Once they return to work, normal lines of
communication with government can resume immediately," the minister
said.
"Our meeting is still scheduled for Monday, October
23."
