Public invited to sign book of condolence for Trudeau family

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador will make available for public signing a book of condolence for the family of former Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau. The book will be placed in the Outer Foyer of the House of Assembly at Confederation Building from 2 - 8 p.m. today, Friday, September 29, and 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The book will be forwarded to the Trudeau family shortly thereafter.

Book of condolence to remain in place until Tuesday, October 3.

Out of respect, flags at provincial government buildings will be flown at half mast until sunset on the day of Mr. Trudeau�s funeral.
