Minister to announce THM (trihalomethanes) data for municipalities

NOTE TO EDITORS:

Oliver Langdon, Minister of Environment and Labour, will hold a news conference on Monday, January 10, at 2 p.m. in the Media Centre, Main Floor, East Block, Confederation Building, to announce the list of communities in the province that have had their water supplies tested for THMs. The minister will also provide THM data for those communities.

The minister made a commitment during the Fall Session of the House of Assembly to release the information publicly pending receiving permission to do so from each of the municipalities.
