Preliminary Count - Trinity North by election
The following is being distributed at the request of Robert J. Jenkins, Chief Electoral Officer:
Based on preliminary vote counts received by telephone, from two advance polls, 56 regular polls, and the special mail in ballot count, the results of the April 25, 2000 by election in the Electoral District of Trinity North are as follows:

The official addition of the votes for the by election in Trinity North is scheduled to take place at the office of the returning officer, 270 Memorial Drive, Clarenville at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2000. Upon conclusion of the official addition of the votes, the candidate who receives the largest number of votes shall be declared elected by the returning officer.
