Time off for voting - Trinity North by election

Voters qualified from the Electoral District of Trinity North who are working on polling day, April 25, 2000, are entitled to have four consecutive hours in order to vote while the polls are open (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.).

If the hours of work do not allow for a total of four consecutive hours in which to vote, the employer is required to provide enough time off to ensure that the four hours are available, without a reduction in pay.

If it is necessary to grant time off, it may be done at the employers convenience.
