Voting by special ballot (mail in) for the April 25, 2000
by election Electors who have reason to believe that they will have difficulty voting on the days set for the ordinary poll or advance poll may apply to vote by special ballot (mail in). However, the special ballot (mail in) does not replace ordinary or advance polls. To obtain an application for a special ballot (mail in) kit, please contact either: (1) The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer 39 Hallett Crescent or (2) The Office of the Returning Officer for the electoral district of Trinity North Restland Motor Inn In accordance with the Elections Act, 1991 an application for special ballot must be received by no later than 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, 2000. Once an application is approved, a special ballot kit will be issued to the elector which must be completed and received by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer by no later than 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 22, 2000.
