NOTE TO EDITORS:

Minister of Education Judy Foote will hold a news conference today, Thursday, May 18, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. in the Collective Bargaining Board Room, Main Floor, East Block, Confederation Building (through Treasury Board doors) to release the province�s Strategic Literacy Plan. Dr. Bill Fagan, Chair of the Literacy Development Council and June Alteen, Past-President of the Newfoundland and Labrador School Boards Association will be present.
