Contract awarded for Clarenville correctional centre
Rick Woodford, Minister of Works Services and Transportation, and Doug Oldford, MHA - Trinity North, today announced that a $123,585 contract has been awarded to Mugford's Contracting Ltd. of Clarke's Beach.
Work will include a building extension for the Correctional Centre for Women in Clarenville.
"This extension will allow for additional space at the centre, for programs related to rehabilitation of inmates," said Mr. Oldford.
Mr. Oldford said that work will commence immediately and be completed by July 30, 2000.
