Contract for road work in the community of Quirpon
Rick Woodford, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, and Brian Tobin, MHA - The Straits and White Bay North, announced the awarding of a contract for road and repair work in the community of Quirpon.
A $445,182.41 contract has been awarded to Marine Contractors Inc., of Pasadena. Work will include upgrading of approximately 2.4 kilometres of the Quirpon Road together with work on an additional 3.8 kilometres of local roads in the community.
Mr. Tobin said that work will commence immediately and be completed by November 30, 1999.
