Contract awarded for Conception Bay North-By-Pass and area
Rick Woodford, Minister of Works Services and Transportation, John Efford, MHA, Port de Grave; George Sweeney, MHA, Carbonear, Harbour Grace and Lloyd Snow, MHA, Trinity Bay de Verde today announced that a $4,573,009.50 contract has been awarded to RDN Construction Ltd. of St. John's, NF.
Work will include paving Conception Bay North by-pass from Country Road to Tilton; pave local roads, Port de Grave; replace Blackhead Bridge; resurface a section of R80 at Lead Cove and maintenance patching R70, Kingston.
Mr.Woodford said that work will commence immediately and be completed by September 30, 2000.
