Rick Woodford, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, Kevin Aylward, MHA - St. George's-Stephenville East, and Gerald Smith, MHA - Port au Port today announced that a $1,117,996.65 contract has been awarded to Terra Nova Industries Ltd. of Glovertown. Work will include recapping approximately 2.7 kilometres of Main St., St. George's; approximately 3.4 kilometres of Route 461 through Mattis Point; approximately three kilometres of Route 463-11 Lourdes toward Black Duck Brook; approximately four kilomteres of Route 460 Piccadilly towards Lourdes; paving Piccadilly High School parking lot; and replacing culvert at Three Rock Cove.

Mr. Aylward and Mr. Smith said that the work will commence immediately and be completed by September 30, 1999.
