Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation (Acting), today announced that a $136,505 contract has been awarded to Trident Construction Ltd. of St. John's, for construction of a panel type bridge, 18.3 metres long over Cochrane Pond Brook service road, Goulds by-pass.

Mr. Matthews said that the work will commence immediately and be completed by July 31, 1999.
