The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador: Inductees into the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Hall of Fame John McGrath, chair of the board of governors of the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Hall of Fame, would like to announce the selection of Doug House of St. John's, Edith Dean of Grand Falls-Windsor and Brian Murphy of St. John's into the athletic category and Doug Fowler of St. John's in the builder category for the induction into the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Hall of Fame. The induction proceedings will take place on Saturday October 16 at the Holiday Inn, St. John's.
