NOTE TO EDITORS:

Members of the media are invited to attend the official opening of "Elitaqatiek: We Work With Our Hands" - a new permanent exhibit at the Newfoundland Museum. This exhibit explores the rich history and culture of the Mi'kmaq in Newfoundland by featuring a variety of artifacts from both past and recent times. The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, at the Newfoundland Museum, 285 Duckworth Street, St. John's.

Any media interested in previewing the exhibition on Tuesday should call Elaine Anton to arrange a time.
