NOTE TO EDITORS:

Members of the media are advised that they are invited to attend the official opening of "The Stuff We're Made Of" - an exhibit of the Newfoundland Museum, in conjunction with Tour Soiree '99. The exhibit consists of 50 objects that were selected by the people of Newfoundland and Labrador to celebrate how we view ourselves, our culture and this place we call home. The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 17 at the Newfoundland Museum, 285 Duckworth Street, St. John's. Any media interested in previewing the exhibition before 4 p.m. on Thursday should contact Jane Severs at the Newfoundland Museum.
