NOTE TO EDITORS:
On Thursday, January 14 at 1 p.m., Charles Furey, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will announce the art works purchased through the 1998/99 Art Procurement Program. The announcement will take place at Irwin Court, Main Floor of the Arts and Culture Centre. Local artist Gerry Squires will also attend and will, with Mr. Furey, unveil his piece entitled Where Genesis Begins - the most significant piece ever acquired by the Art Procurement Program. Various other pieces will also be on display.
