NOTE TO EDITORS:

Lloyd Matthews, minister responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation (NLHC), will meet today with NLHC's oldest client, Mrs. Margaret Giovannini, in honour of the International Year of Older Persons (IYOP). Mrs. Giovannini is the corporation's most senior client, and she celebrated her 99th birthday Wednesday past, October 13. The minister and Mary Marshall, NLHC's chief operating officer, will be taking Mrs. Giovannini and a guest to a luncheon at the Waterford Manor. They will be available for a photo opportunity at 12:00 noon.
