NOTE TO EDITORS:

Lloyd Matthews, Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, along with Sam Synard, President of the Federation of Municipalities, and Mike Pinsent, President of the Association of Municipal Administrators, will hold a joint news conference today at l p.m. in the Media Centre, Main Floor, Confederation Building, East Block. The news conference will deal with the department's legislative program, including a new and comprehensive Municipalities Act and other legislative reforms to be introduced during the current session of the House of Assembly.
