Market Highlights:

  • Retail gasoline prices throughout the province remained unchanged throughout the survey period. For the communities surveyed, Conception Bay South continues to have the least expensive price of 71.9 cpl.

  • From November 30, 1999 to December 14, 1999, refinery wholesale prices, as measured by the Montreal refinery rack price, decreased by 0.7 cpl to 30.5 cpl.

  • Crude oil prices increased from $24.59 US per barrel to $25.73 US per barrel over the current survey period.
