Market Highlights:
-Retail gasoline prices throughout Newfoundland and Labrador
increased by 4.0 cpl throughout most communities for the current survey period. This
increase reflects crude oil cost increases since mid-July. For the communities surveyed,
Conception Bay South continues to have the least expensive price of 67.9
cpl. -From
September 7, 1999 to September 21, 1999, refinery wholesale prices, as measured by the
Montreal refinery rack price, increased by 0.4 cpl to 28.8 cpl and by 4.2 cpl since
mid-July.
-Crude oil prices continue to increase, from $22.61 US per barrel to $24.46 US per
barrel over the current survey period and are about $4.00 US per barrel higher since
mid-July. |
