Market Highlights:

  • Retail gasoline prices throughout most markets surveyed in the province remained unchanged throughout June 1999. Clarenville prices had increased by 3.0 cents per litre (cpl) and follows the increases felt in other markets during the previous month.

  • From May 25, 1999 to June 22, 1999, refinery wholesale prices, as measured by the Montreal refinery rack price, had increased by 2.4 cpl.

    • Crude oil prices have marginally increased from $17.14 US per barrel to $17.61 US per barrel over the same period.
